The Magnawand ID2100 Magnetic Locator uses a patented TID (Target Identification) system, saving time and money by preventing the digging of unnecessary holes when locating objects underground. It is ideal for locating valves and curb boxes and exibits unbeatable performance locating targets near a fence line, even if an old fence is flattened or hidden. It is also excellent for finding hidden culverts, even if the ends are snow covered, survey markers up to 8 feet deep, PK nails up to 14" deep, manhole covers, catch basins, cast-iron pipes, septic tank handles, oil tanks, steel drums and well casings. Targets are indicated by a strong audio tone as well as LED lights on the device. The Magnawand ID2100 can even identify if an object is vertical or horizontal in the ground. Constructed of strong ABS, this device can withstand the harshest conditions. The unique end design also protects the switches while still allowing the operator to use the controls, even if wearing thick gloves. The Magnawand ID2100 can be submerged in water up to the handle grip (30") and can operate between -25°C and 60°C.

Feature-Packed for Versatility! The Magna-Trak 102 magnetic locator provides the same basic performance features as the Magna-Trak 100. However, with the addition of our push-button “erase” feature, greater flexibility is achieved and performance is enhanced.
The speaker in this unit is very loud at full volume, so you will have no problem hearing it in noisy environments.
When a magnetic disturbance, such as a metal fence, is confronted, simply press the “erase” button and the disturbance is erased for continued searching without interference. No need to reduce the sensitivity; the Magna-Trak 102 always returns to perfect magnetic balance when the “erase” button is pressed.

Easy-To-Use detects the magnetic field of iron and steel objects and energized power lines. Both provide audio detection signals that peak in frequency when the locator's tip is held directly over the target.
